Nice to meet you, I’m Gail!

Owner, operator, and companion care giver here at Compassionate Companion Care for Seniors

I offer non-medical concierge services and companion care to seniors in our local communities of South Pasadena, St. Pete Beach, Gulfport, and Treasure Island, Florida.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I am a born and raised Mid-westerner, growing up in Northeast Indiana. I attended Indiana University in Bloomington, IN and earned my Bachelor of Science in Park & Recreation Administration and Tourism Management.

After graduation I travelled the country working in some of the most beautiful places, Yellowstone National Park, WY, Denali National Park, AK, Waikiki Beach, HI, and Steamboat Springs, CO. All the while helping guests plan their trips, helping them get the most out of their trip while staying in their budget, and encouraging them to embrace all the beauty of our country’s amazing landscape. Always focusing on helping each guest by personalizing their trips and wanting them to enjoy it to the fullest!

Several years later I tired of traveling constantly and I returned to my roots in Indiana where I met my husband! After a few more cold and snowy winters we decided to make one last move to SUNNY FLORIDA!

WHAT BROUGHT ME TO START CCC

I have always enjoyed and been passionate about helping and serving others with an empathetic heart. It is truly my calling, and I am so happy to be able to embrace it and share it with others every day!

My Inspiration for starting CCC came from my career of 8 years at St. Luke’s Cataract & Laser Institute as the Clinic Operations Manager of the St. Petersburg location. Everyday I saw a need for companion care for our senior patients. I built relationships with our patients, taking an interest not only in their eye health, but their overall health, their families, their home life, and their individual situations. It was clear our senior community was lacking companion care.  Our senior patients did not have someone taking interest in them. They simply don’t have someone keeping them company or being a friend. They don’t have someone to transport them and accompany them to their Dr.’s appointments, therapy appointments, personal & grooming appointments, or someone to help them communicate the results of their appointments with their families and loved ones. They need someone to help them run local errands, someone to help with groceries, and picking up prescriptions. Someone to take them to the senior center, read to them, take walks with them, and help them with their laundry & light housekeeping; all the things that help our senior loved ones feel independent, socially connected, and remain active.

MY GOAL

My goal is to be an advocate for you, your family member, loved one, or friend. I want to improve every clients quality of life, to help them have the ability to enjoy their hobbies and social activities that they may not be able to do on their own. I want to help them avoid loneliness and isolation by being there as a friend, confidant, and simply a compassionate companion.

I want to help my clients stay where they are familiar and comfortable… their own home!

I AM EXCITED TO HELP YOU!

Please set up a free consultation to see if companion care, provided by me personally, is a service you or a loved one would enjoy and benefit from.

I look forward to speaking with you!
Have a beautiful day!
