Caring Companionship

I visit with the client and engage in activities that bring them joy and stimulate their mental, emotional, and physical health. This could include taking light walks, watching their favorite program, playing cards or their favorite game, reading aloud to them, visiting the local senior center or a friend. I cater to each client’s individual needs and preferred activities.

Light Housekeeping & Laundry

Using the client’s products and appliances in their home I can do light housekeeping such as:

• dusting      

• vacuuming

• counter and table tops disinfecting

If desired, I can do light laundry if laundry facilities are available on premises:

• a load of light and/or dark clothing

• kitchen and bath towels

• remove and launder bedding and remake the bed

If a more thorough cleaning is needed, a professional cleaning service would need to be contacted.

Grocery Shopping

I grocery shop for the client on my own with a list and payment method given to me by the client or the clients family member for desired groceries and products, OR if the client is able to and desires to accompany me to the preferred local grocery, I will take them with me.

Local Errands

I am also willing to run local errands and participate in activities with the client, such as:

• Pharmacy

• Retail Shopping

• Post Office/UPS

• Hardware Store

• Banking

• Breakfast or Lunch Outing

• Local Events

• Senior Center

  & other local miscellaneous errands requested by the client or client’s family member within reason.

Medication Reminders

I remind clients when I am present with them to take their self-administered medications.
These medications need to be already organized in a pill box or bottle.

This is a verbal reminder only; I do not administer medication nor distribute it into a pill box.

Appointment Transportation & Accompaniment

I accompany clients to their local medical or personal appointments and stay with the client during the appointment. If the client and/or clients family member would prefer for me to accompany the client while they are with the nurse/technician and the doctor I am happy to. I will obtain a patient print out from the doctor in order to communicate with the client and client’s family. 

There will be an additional “transportation fee” for transportation to and from medical and personal appointments.
